Why did you choose this text?
I like animals. And they are very interesting to me
Explain what you think expect this text to be about.
Make predictions.
It is about monkeys. It will be about how animals eat their prey. How fast they are and how they use their talent.
What do you already know? (Prior knowledge)
That bee´s can flap their wings 100 times per second and Monkeys use their tails to swing branch to branch. Without bees and butterflies we wouldn't be alive by now because our plants need nectar and we need trees.

Think about the  language features. Which ones did the author include? Why? How do they help you
better understand the text?  Some  predators (like lions)  work together to kill their prey, While others hunt alone. Camouflage is a great defense against predators.

Were you right or wrong? I was right about that bees can flap their wings 100 times per second.
Visualize the text in your mind. What are new Vocabulary words ?What images do you see?  A red  Columbus monkey climbing around and wandering around in the trees.

Write a definition for two of the new words below.
Red Columbus monkey are black usually with white encircling the face and long white fringes of silky hair on the sides of the body and the tail.
Ambushers
They can change colour to match their surroundings and often climb through trees with a swaying motion, probably to mimic the movement of the leaves and branches they are surrounded by.
