In Lockdown,me and my family watch the new movie lion king! It was my second time watching it. When the songs came up, we were all singing it. I really loved it. These are some songs that I liked the most.

Travis Wetlands Reflection

On Thursday, the 6th of August, 2020, our inquiry group drove to the Travis Wetlands.

We went there to learn about the ecology of the Wetlands as a habitat.

We learnt that 90% of Christchurch was wetlands and now it's only 2% wetlands. I also learnt that without insects, there wouldn't be a wetland because it would of become a swamp. There is lots of beautiful animals and cool insects there like a black swan, waterboat men, Pukeko, Mallard duck, horse, and a paradise duck. I'm so glad that there's lots of cool species in New Zealand.

We got to go bird searching, and insect fishing. My favorite was the bug fishing because I found different types of bugs that I've never seen.

CRT Sphero Ramp

For CRT (Cool Rise Team) we had to create our own ramps for the sphero. In my group, I was working with Sitia and Elouise. 

The challenge was to create our own ramps for the sphero and see how far it can go.

Me and my friends used cardboard, scissors, tape and a pencil to create our ramp. The most challenging part about it was probably trying to make the sphero go up the ramp and not around it. We released when we were starting that we bent the cardboard too much and we had put supports under the ramp to hold it up.

Our sphero went 40cm long! I was sooooo happy but we didn't get to record it sadly:(
